Upon his arrival bright and early on Thursday, August 7, Rob Fader, a member of our Concierge team found an iPhone lying outside the building near the employee entrance.
Rob checked with colleague Aaron on proper procedures for Lost & Found processing, and then took it upon himself to try to track down the owner of the iPhone. With assistance from our Systems Administrator, Jeff Huntley, Rob was able to unlock the iPhone and then track down the owner by carrying out a search on Facebook and contacting someone who had been calling the phone.
By 10:30 a.m., Rob had contacted the owner who then came in to retrieve his lost iPhone. Even though the owner was not a hotel guest, Rob still went above and beyond to return a valuable item to its owner. This is the kind of determined effort upon which our reputation is built. To Rob, a well-deserved pat on the back!
