I'm delighted to announce the appointment of Ted Grant as Executive Chef of The Prince George Hotel. A proud native of Nova Scotia, Ted is a graduate of the Stratford Chef School, where, during his studies he worked under Chef Marc Thuet at "The Fifth" in Toronto.
Upon graduation, Ted joined Michael Noble at "Catch" in Calgary, honing his skills over the next few years before gaining International experience in Europe where he joined the culinary team at "Chez Bruce" in London, England, a Michelin restaurant which was awarded "Best in London".
Ted returned to Canada in 2006 to work with David Lee at "Splendido" in Toronto and while there was selected to represent the restaurant at the famous James Beard house in New York. Ted has also worked on various stages throughout Europe and North America including events with Daniel Boulud and Gordon Ramsay.
In his exciting new capacity Ted will be responsible for all aspects of the Prince George Hotel kitchen including the management of our skilled culinary team of almost 30 talented people.
