Haxhere Berbatovci, who is a hard-working Room Attendant and member of our proud Housekeeping team, got quite a surprise when she went home this year for a vacation to Kosovo. Unbeknowsnt to her, she was destined to return to Halifax a married woman!!
When Haxhere visited Kosovo to spend time with her fiancé, Zenun Selmani, she had no idea that Zenun had secretly been planning their wedding and had made all the arrangements prior to Haxhere's arrival - right down to the last detail. He had even selected a beautiful wedding gown for Haxhere. Haxhere and Zenun were able to tie the knot in Kosovo, and celebrate their marriage there with family and friends.
We are all thrilled for Haxhere and look forward to meeting her new husband in the future. He is most obviously quite a special guy!! Many congratulations to Haxhere.
