The Prince George Hotel is the only fully independent Hotel in Nova Scotia to earn a four diamond rating from the Canadian Automobile Association. To create a little excitement and an incentive for the Housekeeping team, Lynn Davis, Rooms Manager, and her team devised a competition that helps the Housekeeping team to provide an exceptionally clean and well maintained product.

Gary Howard, Vice President of the Canadian Automobile Association, has announced that The Prince George Hotel has again been awarded the AAA/CAA 4 Diamond rating for 2008.

Neville Gilfoy, Publisher of Progress magazine has announced that readers of Progress magazine have once again voted The Prince George Hotel the best hotel in Atlantic Canada.
Nicholas Carson, General Manager of the hotel was quoted as saying he was humbled and very proud of this recognition, and gives full credit for the award to his team of engaged and empowered employees who take such good care of guests of the hotel.
