Exceeds my expectations yet again! I arrived on a stormy evening frankly a little wound up after driving for over 2-hours in bad weather. A very welcoming team at the front desk graciously took my details and checked me in. Additionally, the always charming Mr. Norton, who was chatting with two other quests, acknowledged me as soon as he saw me with that wonderful smile of his and the proverbial nod. After he finished with the other guests he came over to the desk for chat and well wishes on the New Year â€" he is the consummate hospitality front-person: charismatic, pleasant, intuitive, and always professional. It is no wonder that the team at the front that greeted me also demonstrated these same characteristics. Shortly after getting in my suite (maybe 20 minutes); I unfortunately have forgotten this charming staff members name, she indicated that after travelling for over 2-hours in bad weather I probably needed to relax and unwind and wondered if she could send up some refreshment. She asked if the hotel could offer me a complimentary glass of wine or another beverage. What a thoughtful and lovely surprise! I indicated that I was working in my suite with my boss who was also staying at the hotel, she quickly said that two glasses of wine would be promptly sent up and asked what our preference was. Minutes later the wine arrived accompanied by a plate of artisan cheese and fruit which we very much enjoyed over the next hour. We ordered room service so that we could continue with our meetings; the buttermilk chicken was fantastic, and the chocolate mousse cake was light but also very decadent. The room was tied up within 30 minutes of our dinner being finished. Breakfast was delivered promptly as I had requested, and as I had interviews I was conducting in my suite on Saturday morning, the coffee and water I had ordered to arrive before 10am, was delivered on time and with that same attention to detail and professionalize I have come to expect from the PG. I thought this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I have recently been in Poland and Israel on business and the superiority of this hotel really amazed me in comparison to what I have experienced in these places and around North America. The Aveda products in the room were fantastic but better yet was the service of your team: they knew my name when I walked in the door and really served me well when I had questions. I had a fantastic stay there ... [on] the "Perfect Escape" package ... it is an excellent value - especially ... the dining allowance for that ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Sunday Brunch ... I love the Prince George and found it to be a much better value than a less expensive hotel that I had stayed in prior to my arrival. Every member of the hotel staff exhibited a tremendous amount of attention to every detail and request made by Bank officers, and they are all to be commended.
