Memories & Human Moments

What makes a hotel special is easier to know once you have been a guest there. The quality of the hotel is one thing, but more important is the quality of the people who look after you and how you experience them as human beings.

For a hint of some of our qualities on the human side, you might like to read a few notes we received from people who spent time with us. It seems to sounds a little nicer when somebody else tells a kind story about us than when we tell it.

Think of these little stories and notes as sort of photographs of ordinary human moments that go on at the hotel. We have sprinkled them throughout to give a sense of the personal side that goes along with the rest of the qualities we have to offer.

In editing for space, we have tried to retain those details that let the individual voice come through, not just pick out the most flattering parts. We have also protected the identity of the writer in our editing. The way some of our guests have of putting things in their own words - besides telling you something about us - will maybe also tell you something about them, and why it is so easy for us to remember them the way we do.
